Holly M. Smith is a consultant based in Hong Kong, providing insights and advice on U.S.-China trade relations as well as economic relations between the U.S. and Asia, from the perspective of a former practitioner. From 2009 to 2015, she served in the Office of the United States Trade Representative, where she focused on U.S.-China trade relations, the Trans-Pacific Partnership, and intellectual property issues with China, India, and Korea. Holly previously worked as an attorney with Akin Gump in Beijing, and Allen & Overy in Hong Kong.
