Khalil Saliba has a strong background in government, politics, and working with public policy issues at the national and state level. This includes serving in the George H.W. Bush Administration as a Special Assistant at the Department of Energy from 1991-1993 and serving as a political aide to Republican National Committee Chairman Haley Barbour from 1993-1995. In 1995, he joined The Wexler Group, a government affairs firm, as a principal where he represented a variety of business and political interests. Khalil’s current and previous clients include: Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co., the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers, Electrolux, Bloomin’ Brands, and Islamic Relief Worldwide. He also has represented clients in the restaurant and hospitality sector, such as the Burger King Corporation and Subway Restaurants. He is the co-founder of the FACTA Reform Coalition, which secured enactment of legislation that provided merchants with protection from FACTA lawsuits, essentially nullifying over 1,000 lawsuits seeking damages over $2 billion.
