For more than two decades, Marcie Kinzel has been at the intersection of communications and policy in Washington, DC. Among her services, Marcie guides clients on broad communications strategies, crisis communications, customer outreach initiatives, and how to leverage targeted digital outreach to amplify earned media campaigns. Marcie has overseen communications strategies for three U.S. Senators in their home state media markets, ranging from multiple urban centers to the rural Mountain West. She also worked in high-profile re-election campaigns, including former U.S. Senator Scott Brown’s (R-MA) campaign. In the George W. Bush Administration, Marcie oversaw the Office of Communications & Outreach for U.S. Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings. Marcie also has experience in the defense industry with clients like General Dynamics, and in the tech sector with organizations like the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI). At General Dynamics, she oversaw the roll-out of FirstNet, the nationwide broadband network dedicated to first responders to help them save lives and protect U.S. communities. In the higher education arena, Marcie managed strategic communications and marketing for UCLA on the East Coast.
